I met Genie O’Brien at the Haile Farmers Market where I go every Saturday to take photos of “Miracles.” Genie offers her huge collection of Stones and Shells, all beautifully displayed to share with others. She even has baskets of small shells and stones at a very low price for her very young customers!
I love looking deeply at the items she displays, to see the amazing patterns and textures. And take photos of them every week.
She gifted me this special stone and I painted a “portrait” of it, then affixed the stone itself onto the painting.
